You have options in California. Big-box stores. High-end retail showrooms. Online-only suppliers. Here is exactly what makes Apex different from every one of them — in plain terms.
These are the three questions every homeowner and contractor should ask any kitchen and bath supplier — and our honest answers.
Yes. We don't inflate prices then negotiate them down. Our factory-direct pricing is the same for every customer — posted clearly, no hidden showroom design fees, no markup on "special access" inventory. What you see in the showroom is what you pay. Contractors get an additional trade discount through our contractor program — ask about it when you visit.
Transparent PricingIf it's on our showroom floor, it's available for pickup this week. We maintain real warehouse inventory at every location — not just display samples backed by a 10-week backorder. We stock the cabinet styles, stone colors, and vanity sizes that actually move in California projects. We don't take your money and then start sourcing.
Real InventoryYou don't have to trust it without seeing it — come see it in person at any of our six California showrooms. Every granite and stone slab is individually quality-checked by our team before it reaches the warehouse floor. Cabinets are built to KCMA standards. And our 20-year track record — 80% of our business from referrals — is the most reliable quality signal we can offer.

Numbers don't adjust to what sounds good. Here are the real figures that define what Apex is and how it operates.
Four out of five Apex customers come from referrals. No stat reflects customer satisfaction more honestly.
20 years in California kitchen and bath. Long enough to have served the children of original customers.
LA, San Diego, Fresno (×2), Clovis, and Bakersfield — real locations, real staff, real inventory on the floor.
Over 100 granite, engineered stone, and natural stone colors sourced from suppliers across the world.
Not promises — specifics. Each of these is something you can verify in person at any of our six California showrooms.
We source and import directly, eliminating the distributor and retail markups that inflate prices at traditional showrooms. Same materials — 20–35% less.
Cabinet lines, stone slabs, vanities, and fixtures physically in our warehouses. No 12-week backorders. If it's in the showroom, it's available for pickup this week.
Every granite and stone slab is individually inspected by our quality control team before it enters our warehouse. You don't inherit someone else's reject.
Six California showrooms with real full-size stone slabs on display — not sample tiles, not website photos. You see the actual material at countertop scale.
Every customer gets a complimentary 3D rendering of their kitchen with their selected cabinets and countertops — before ordering a single piece.
We are materials-only. We never compete with your contractor. Our advice is about finding you the right product — not the one with the highest installation margin.
Dedicated trade accounts with volume pricing, priority inventory access, and same-week fulfillment for contractor-paced project schedules.
Cabinets, countertops, sinks, faucets, vanities, flooring, mirrors, and accessories — the full scope of a kitchen or bathroom remodel, under one roof.
This is not a marketing claim. Here is what actually happens to every piece of stone before it reaches our showroom floor.
Most stone suppliers purchase container loads and move them directly from port to warehouse to customer without inspection. The result: customers receive slabs with hidden fissures, color inconsistencies, or surface defects that only become apparent after fabrication — by which point the material has already been cut and is non-returnable.
At Apex, every piece of granite, engineered stone, and natural stone slab that enters our inventory passes through individual inspection by our quality control team. This process adds time and cost on our end. It saves you from discovering a problem after your countertop has been cut to your kitchen dimensions.
The same standard applies to our cabinetry. Our American and European cabinet lines are built to KCMA certification standards — the industry benchmark for kitchen cabinet construction quality. Plywood box construction (not particleboard), soft-close hinges, and full-extension drawer slides are standard across our lines, not upsells.
Twenty years of building a business on referrals means our quality reputation is directly tied to our repeat and referred customer base. We cannot afford to ship inferior product — and we don't.
Stone is evaluated at the source before shipping. Lots with excessive natural fissuring or inconsistent coloring are rejected before they reach our container.
Every slab is visually inspected by our QC team on arrival at the California warehouse. Surface defects, edge chips, and structural fissures are identified and flagged at this stage.
Approved slabs are placed on vertical display racks so you can view the full face of the stone at scale under showroom lighting — not just an edge chip in a sample box.
For natural stone, you select the specific slab you want — not a representative sample. The slab you approve in the showroom is the one that goes to your fabricator. No substitutions.
That figure hasn't changed in years. It's the one metric that summarizes twenty years of service better than anything we could say ourselves.
A business built on referrals isn't built on marketing — it's built on not disappointing people. Customers who had a good experience at Apex don't send their friends and contractors here because of our advertising. They send them because they trust us to treat them the same way they were treated. That accountability is the most honest quality guarantee we can offer.
"I've sent four contractors here. All of them came back and thanked me."
"My neighbor did her whole kitchen here. I saw it and came in the same week."
"Every client I refer here comes back happy. That's why I keep referring."
We visited four different stone yards before coming to Apex. The selection was incredible — we found our countertops in twenty minutes. Pricing was fair and the staff actually knew what they were talking about. We'll never go anywhere else.
As a contractor, I've been using Apex for three years. Their cabinet lead times are the best in Southern California and the trade pricing keeps my clients happy. I send every customer here for cabinets and stone — always a smooth experience.
Got my engineered stone countertops and RTA cabinets from the Fresno showroom. Both were exactly as shown — no surprises on delivery. The staff helped me figure out the right edge profile for my layout without any pressure. Came back three months later for the bathroom.
When a supplier also installs, their material recommendations are influenced by their installation margins. When we recommend a product, it's because it's the right product for your project — full stop. We have no installation business to protect and no incentive to steer you toward a product that's easier or more profitable for us to put in.
More than half of Apex's business comes from professional contractors, builders, and designers — repeat customers who trust us precisely because we stay in our lane. We supply. They install. Everyone wins. That division is intentional and it's been the model since 2005.
